Založe (Hotunjščica) - Sevčnik (Andraška pot (pri Vodostečni))

Access to the starting point:
From the A1 motorway (Ljubljana - Celje), take the Šempeter exit and follow the main road (from LJ turn left at the exit, from CE turn right). Follow the road to Polzela. Pass through the town and continue on the priority road at the agricultural supply. At the next crossroads turn right towards Velenje. For the next few kilometres pass through Založe. At the end of the village, park somewhere along the Hotunjščica stream. There you will see a registration box with the Vodostečná stamp and a mountain sign for the Andraška mountain trail.

Path description:
First, cross the main road, where you will see a sign on the fence on the left. Be careful how you walk along the road, as there are many lorries passing by. The road leads from the village Založe and after a good kilometre and a half of walking you will reach the bus stop at Andraž nad Polzela. From here on there are no markings on the road. Continue walking straight ahead. Soon we see an abandoned ski jump on the left. Then walk all the way to the crossroads for Sevčnik and Podsevčnik. Here turn right into the village. Follow the road past houses, farms, chapels and woods to a large crossroads where you turn left onto a road with a STOP sign. The road climbs higher and at the next crossroads you go straight ahead on the upper road. After a few minutes of walking, you can see the peak on the right and the Sevčnik water reservoir on the left. Pass the last houses and follow the road up to the crossroads, where the macadam begins. Follow the upper, right-hand path. Soon you will reach the marked path and the signs for the Andraško trail. Turn right and after a few metres reach the top of Sevčnik.
