Zadraga - Kriva jelka

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Naklo exit, then follow the signs for Spodnje and Zgornje Duplje. After Zgornje Duplje, you will arrive at Zadraga, where the route described above starts at the bus stop and bus turnaround.

Path description:
At the starting point there is the Dopulnik (also Dupulnek) cave, and the trail starts slightly to the left of the cave and begins to climb, first along a slightly overgrown part, and then passes into the forest, where you follow the signs for the Kriva jelka trail. Higher up, there are several successive forks where you follow the signs carefully, and at the part where you walk along the dirt road, you have a nice view towards Dobrča and Julian Alps in the background.
A little further on, you reach a wider dirt road, where you merge with the Three Bells Trail, and a little further on, at a sign, take a sharp right onto a forest track. A fairly easy walk with a few short ups and downs follows before returning to the dirt road, where you continue to follow the well-known signs.
At the part where the path from Zgornje Duplje joins from the right, continue slightly left, and at the next marked crossroads, which you reach after a few minutes of further walking, go left (Vogvar's house and the Castle on the right) and continue walking along the dirt road.
The road then leads us past a crossroads, where a path branches off to the right towards the NOB memorial in Želin, and we continue straight on, passing by the huts of the roustabouts, and quickly arrive at Kriva jelka, where there are some information boards.
