Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Celje motorway, take the Žalec exit and follow the road towards Žalec. In Žalec, turn right towards Šempeter, but only as far as the crossroads where the road to Griže and Zabukovica branches off on the left. When you reach the village Migojnice, continue straight on towards Zabukovica. Towards the end of the village Zabukovica, we come to a crossroads where the road to the hunting lodge Gozdnik branches off to the right, here we continue along the road to the left, which, just past the signpost end of Bukovica, leads us to the next crossroads, where we continue to the right, in the direction of Pongrac, from number 147-170a. When this road takes you a little higher up to the junction of two roads, park in the roadside parking lot.
Path description:
From the roadside parking lot, continue along the upper left-hand road, which after a 20-minute walk leads to the pass between Kotečnik on the left and Gozdnik on the right. Here, continue right, along a faint path, across the meadow towards Gozdnik. At the top of the meadow, the path turning left again becomes more visible and becomes cart track, which climbs crosswise. After a few minutes, cart track turns into a steep footpath which leads us higher up onto the grassy slopes, at the farm lower Beškovnik. The path across the meadow is poorly marked, but in fine weather there are no problems with orientation. At the top of the meadow you will come to two small houses and a forest road, which you can just cross. The path continues to climb, following the wide forested eastern ridge of Gozdnik. The path, which occasionally climbs a little steeper, but mostly through the forest, quickly leads to the top of Gozdnik.

Bi rad povedu sam tole. Bil sem letos 1.3. na Gozdniku, na žalost pa sem pozabil planinski dnevnik in ker ga nisem mogel ožigosat, sem sklenil, da grem gor še enkrat samo zaradi tega. Uspelo mi je v nedeljo 6.12. in, ker nikoli ne grem na pohod brez fotoaparata, sem potem doma primerjal slike. Ugotovitev !!?? Nekdo je na brunarici medtem odtujil (po domače ukradel) lep barometer z termometrom, škoda, da tak človek sploh hodi v hribe, naj ga bo sram

Za primerjavo sem na forumu objavil sliko brunarice marca, ko je barometer še bil in letos decembra, ko je skrivnostno izginil  , ,

dne 4.2.2017 sem pri sestopu iz malega gozdnika v smeri lovske koce na gozniku izgubil rumeni bidon,ce ga je kdo najdel naj me kontaktiral na zs.
