Access to the starting point:
First we drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, then we continue to Bohinjsko jezero and then to the ski resort Vogel. When the main road turns left into the short road to the bottom station of the Vogel pendulum, we continue to the right and then immediately park in the large pay parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the asphalt road towards Hotel Zlatorog. After a few minutes of easy walking past the Zlatorog Bohinj bivouac and the information board of the circular route Zlatorog's Fairytale Land, you will arrive at the Zlatorog Hotel, and after the hotel the road splits.
Continue in the direction of the Savica waterfall (left Savica waterfall through Blato), and after crossing the Savica river a little further on, continue left again in the direction of the Savica waterfall (right path around Lake Bohinj). Continue along the asphalt road for a while, and then the yellow markings for waterfall Savica direct us slightly right on the macadam path, which initially leads us past a few huts and then into the forest. Through the forest we climb moderately, but when the path is higher, we arrive at a marked crossroads, where the path over Komarčo branches off to the right, and we continue straight along the gently sloping path towards Koča pri Savici. Crossing the bridge, we arrive at the Cottage pri Savici.
