Access to the starting point:
From Ljubljana, drive to Kočevje or vice versa, and follow the road to Turjak. When you arrive in Turjak, turn right (left from Kočevje) and park in the large parking lot next to the cooperative house.
Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the asphalt road towards Turjak Castle. The road first leads us past the cooperative home, arriving at a marked crossroads, where a marked trail branches off to the left down towards Kureščko, and we continue straight along the asphalt road, which gradually begins to descend through the village. The path soon opens up to a beautiful view of the castle, and a little further down, the path branches off to the right to Bajdinškim waterfalls. Continue straight on here, then at the next crossroads turn left towards the castle, which is reached after a short, steep climb.
