Ski hotel Vogel - Vrh Planje (above Globoko) (via Planina Zadnji Vogel and gable of Žagarjev graben)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenica take the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled, Bohinjska Bistrica, Ribčev Laz and the Vogel ski resort. The route starts at the large parking lot at the bottom station of the lift to Vogel. From the starting point, take the pendulum to the top station of the cable car, where the route described above starts at Ski hotel Vogel.

b) From Primorska, take the first exit to Bohinjska Bistrica, then follow the signs for Bohinjsko jezero and Vogel. The route starts at the parking lot at the bottom station of the funicular to Vogel. From the starting point, take the funicular to the top station of the cable car, where the route described above starts at Ski hotel Vogel.

Path description:
At the Ski Hotel, turn right (west) and follow the macadam road past the Merjasec mountain hut. The road begins to descend gently and leads to a crossroads. Take the road to the right after the signs "Komna, Cheese factory Zadnji Vogel". The road continues to descend gently and soon we are back at the crossroads. This time take the road to the left after the signs "Pl Zadnji Vogel, Komna". After only a few tens of metres of ascent, a sign on a rock (Vogel) directs us to a footpath that goes right into the forest. The path through the forest runs parallel to the road and begins to descend gently. When you rejoin the road, follow the signs "Pl. Zadnji Vogel". The road then crosses the cable car "Last Vogel" and leads to the crossroads at the cheese cottage "Last Vogel".
Continue past the cheese cottage and follow the signs for Komno (the path to Vogel branches off to the left). The path then takes us through dwarf pines into the forest and begins to descend slightly. After a while, a rather overgrown path branches off to the right towards the valley (the path through Žagarjev graben, there are old markings along the way), and we climb moderately to a marked crossroads, from which we go left on a less well-trodden but well-marked path towards the Globoko and Koča na planini Razor passes (straight ahead to Konjsko sedlo and Komna).

The way forward continues along the grass-covered mule track, which the marked path also crosses a few times. Higher up we climb with increasingly beautiful views, and we follow the mule track, which makes a few longer turns, to a crossroads where we join the other trail leading from the Vogel ski resort towards Komna.

Continue right towards the Globoko pass and in a few minutes, past the ruins, we climb to the crossroads below the Globoko pass.

Bear slightly right and up the path towards the Globoko and Koča na planini Razor passes (Vogel on the left, Konjsko sedlo and Komna on the right). A steep climb follows, with a short place to help us, and after 15 minutes of steep climbing, we reach the Globoko pass, from where we have a nice view to the south. Here you leave the marked trail, which starts descending towards mountain pasture Razor and continue sharp right on a less well marked path, which will take you up to Vrh Planje in a minute or two.
