Selo pri Mirni - Sveti Peter (Selo pri Mirni) (by road)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the Ljubljana - Obrežje motorway, take exit Trebnje West and then continue towards Mirna. In Mirna, turn left towards Gabrovka, and follow the road to the settlement Selo pri Mirni. The trail starts at a crossroads where the road to Žunovec and Kozjak branches off to the right. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

b) From the Obrežje - Ljubljana motorway, take the exit Trebnje east and then continue towards Mirna. In Mirna, turn left towards Gabrovka and follow the road to Selo pri Mirni. The trail starts at a crossroads where the road to Žunovec and Kozjak branches off to the right. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

c) From Radeče or Sevnica, take the road to Mirna, from there continue to the right towards Gabrovka, and follow the road to Selo pri Mirni. The trail starts at a crossroads where the road to Žunovec and Kozjak turns off to the right. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

d) First drive to Litija and from there continue to Šmartno pri Litiji and then to Gabrovka and Mirna. When you reach Selo pri Mirni, look out for the left-hand turn-off of the road towards Žunovec and Kozjak. At this crossroads, the path or road to St Peter's Church begins. There are no parking spaces at the starting point.

Path description:
From the starting point, or from the main road, follow the narrow asphalt road towards Žunovec and Kozjak. The road first climbs through the village and then leads to more open countryside, from where you can already see the Church of St Peter. At a small pass near the power pole, continue left on a side road, which quickly leads past some small vineyards and higher up, past a few houses and with beautiful views, to St Peter's Church.
