Access to the starting point:
Shortly before Spittal, from the route of Villach (on the old road), the road to Ziebel branches off to the left. In the village you will see the signs for the Goldeck Alpenstraße. Follow the road to a large parking lot at 1885m above sea level, road price €12.
Path description:
At the beginning of the parking lot, the road turns right uphill towards the Goldeck summit. Take this road, which is closed to traffic (ramp) and climbs moderately up the uncultivated mountainside. From the road, which climbs moderately and makes a few bends, a footpath branches off to the right in the middle of one of them, heading towards the Goldeckhütte hut. We continue straight ahead (possible circular route) along the road, which then quickly leads us to the top slope of the mountain, where the next crossroads are. Continue to the right, past the transmitter, and you will reach the summit.
