Access to the starting point:
Take the LPP city bus No 11 to Roška cesta, where you will get off at the bus stop at the junction with Streliška Street.
Path description:
At the crossroads of Roška Street and Streliška Street, you will see red mountain signs directing you to concrete stairs, which will take you up a level. At the top of the stairs, continue left into the forest and within a minute's walk you will reach a wider dirt track. Follow the path to the right, then continue left for a few steps before reaching a nearby tarmac road. Climb through the woods for a few more minutes, then the path will lay down and lead you to the former fortress Šance, from where you are only a short walk away from Ljubljana Castle.
