Access to the starting point:
Drive to Rogašovce, then continue in the direction of Kuzma. After Sotina, the road towards Kuzma turns right uphill, and we continue straight towards Austria. As you drive through Austria, first follow the signs for Jennersdorf, Güssing and then to St. Michael im Burgenland, where you turn right towards Großpetersdorf. After this village, we reach the main road Sombotel / Szombathely - Oberwart / Felsőőr, and we follow it to the right in the direction of Hungary. Leave the main road at the exit for Rechnitz, and we drive to the above-mentioned place, from where we continue towards the Geschriebenstein Passhöhe. About 300 m from the end of Rechnitz, we see signs for Donatikappele on the left, and we park in a convenient place on a side road.
Path description:
From the starting point, take the path in the direction of Donatikappele, and we quickly leave the side road and climb through the forest to the Chapel of St Donatus in about 5 minutes.
