Access to the starting point:
First, drive to Cortina d'Ampezzo (you can get here via Border crossing Rateče or Predel to Trbiž / Tarvisio and then take the motorway towards Udine to the Tolmezzo exit. From Tolmezzo, follow the road towards Ampezzo and the Passo della Mauria mountain pass. The road then descends and leads to a crossroads where you turn left (possibly right) towards Cortina d'Ampezzo. At all subsequent junctions, follow the signs for Cortina d'Ampezzo. Or from the Primorska side, take the motorway towards Trieste. Continue on the Italian motorway towards Padua, but only as far as the motorway junction where you continue towards Veneto and Belluno. Near Belluno, the motorway ends and we continue towards Cortina d'Ampezzo at the next junctions and then follow the signs for the Passo di Falzarego Alpine pass. We then follow this ascending road to where a road forks off to the right in the direction of the rifugio Dibona hut (the fork is at about 1700m). The rather ruined and initially tarmac road leads us higher up to a junction where we continue on the lower left road (Duca d'Aosta hut on the right) and follow it to the parking lot behind the Dibona hut.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the dirt road past the gate. Follow this road to a marked junction, where you turn right onto a wide mulatier marked "Rif. Camillo Giussani". The wide path then climbs slowly and is joined at a left-hand bend by the path from hut Rifugio Pomedes, and a little later by path 404 on the left, which crosses the slopes below the south face of the Tofana di Rozes. The Mulatiera then continues to climb up the increasingly steep slope between Tofana di Rozes and Tofana di Mezzo. Soon you reach the abandoned Cantore hut. There is a short climb up by the funicular and we are at the Rifugio Giussani.
From the hut we continue westwards and after a short climb over a scree slope, the path from the Tre Dita (three fingers) summit joins us on the right. At the crossroads, we continue left up the slightly steeper path and start to climb towards the ridge. The waymarks are very sparse and badly faded on this part of the route, but the numerous cairns are helpful. Some caution is also needed when climbing towards the ridge, as there is a lot of rubble on the path. When we reach the ridge, the climbing route on the west face of Tofana di Rozes joins from the right. Then we climb along the top ridge and soon reach a very scenic summit.

Ta pot je verjetno zahtevna samo zaradi strmega vzpona in gruščevja. Ali imam prav?

Imaš prav, še posebej zoprna pa zna biti v sestopu(polno drobirja na gladkih ploščah)!!

Ne vem, višinske razlike ni bog ve kaj, sem pa tu samo sestopal. Imaš pa vmes še eno kočo tako, da ne bi smelo biti prenaporno!!!!

Koča A. Dibona je na višini nad 2000m, tako da je viš razlike nekaj nad 1100m. Pot sva v spustu opravila v 1,5h in v tem času je še mali ovinek na kofe(2x100m poti) do koče Giussani, ki je že omenjena. Drugih koč vmes ni!!! Sicer pa po mojem za vzpon pot ni prav nič zahtevna ob normalni kondiciji se razume. Srečno

Opravil pot v petek. Čeprav je gora z nekaterih smeri impresivna, navidez nedostopna, je dostop bistveno lažji kot na naše dosti bolj oblegane gore. Na poti ni ene zajle, večino poti si lahko pomagaš s palicami. Je pa drobir precej zoprn, z njim je posuta cela gora, potrebna previdnost zaradi zdrsa. Poti je veliko, označena pot slabo sledljiva, vendar nimaš kaj zgrešiti. Zna se zgoditi, da je treba poiskati prehod čez skalni skok. V petek je bilo preko poti precej ledenih slapov in slapičev, ki se jim je bilo treba izogniti. Sicer pa gora vredna razgledov.

Ima kdo info o snegu in stanju na normalni poti in pa na Lipelli?
Kaksne so težave na Lipelli od Casteletta do izhoda pri Tre Dita? Je kaj stopov pri vzponih ali samo čista moč v rokah?

zadnji težji del pod izhodom na vršni grušč je malo sitna plošča zgolj z navpično jeklenico, še posebej, če si že utrujen in ti zmanjkuje kondicije (kot je don kihott napisal - kondicija je ključ do zmage  )...

Včeraj stal na rožnati Tofani in gledal v kočo, dol, Giussani, pa še kam, da ne naštevam.
Po via normale gor in dol.
Do Giussanija mulatjera, naprej pa izmenično melišča in police, viseče navzdol, pokrite s šodrom.
Če ne bi bilo žene zraven, bi...
Cesta do Dibone najprej asfalt, zadnji del pa slab makadam. Avto v prvi.
Na vrhu gore pa kar gužva, normalkarji in feratarji na kupu. Občutki lepi, zrak pa že kar redek, se čuti.

Sestopal sem po tej poti proti vzhodu(Rifugio Guissani).
Veliko se nas je odločilo za to varjanto(ne čez Tre Dita). Ta pot gre čez rahlo nagnjene police ter je veliko drobirja, železja ni tle.
Zna bit neugodna ter nevarna za zdrs, kr ni nobenih klinov, jeklenice. Če bi bile police rahlo mokre, odsvetujem pot tle, najbrž bolje čez Tre Dita.

Se je kdo lani vozil do Dibone, je cesta kaj bolj urejena od prejšnjih let?

Ne vem sicer kakšna je bila prej, ampak lani prvega oktobra sem prišla gor brez problema ( Panda ). Ob povratku je bilo parkirišče nabito polno vseh vrst avtomobilov.
