Access to the starting point:
From Logatec, drive towards Idrija. Just after the village Kalce you will see a road heading left towards the village Podkraj and Col. Take this road and follow it for about 3km to a sharp left turn, in the middle of which a macadam road closed to traffic turns off to the right. Park at the beginning of the dirt road.
Path description:
Between the main road and the side road, you will notice a marked footpath that starts to descend slightly to the left. The path quickly widens into cart track, which gradually lays down and leads us a little further to a forest road. The road descends slightly further and quickly leads us to a crossroads where we continue along the right-hand road (follow the markings). There follows a few minutes' walk along the said road, which then leads us to the next crossroads, where we continue to the left. Follow this road, which stops descending, all the way to the mountain lodge.
