Poštarski dom pod Plešivcem - Dom na Uršlji gori (via Kozarnica)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor take the exit Žalec, then follow the road towards Velenje, where at the main roundabout in the middle of the town turn right towards Slovenj Gradec. In Slovenj Gradec, near the petrol station, turn left towards Podgorje, Sele and Ravne na Koroškem. Continue along the regional road towards Ravne na Koroškem, then at Vrhe turn left towards Sele and the Church of St. Roko. From the church, continue along the asphalted road, which lane takes you just a little higher to a crossroads where a road branches off to the left, leading to the Postman's Home. Follow the local road to the right at the first crossroads and to the left at the second crossroads (both in the direction of the Postman's Home). Follow the local road all the way to the Postman's Home, where you can park in the parking lot near the Postman's Home.
b) First drive to Ravne na Koroškem and from there continue to Kotlje and then on to Slovenj Gradec. After a small road pass, where the road is laid, turn right after the bus station in the direction of the settlement of Sele. Continue along the slightly narrower road leading to the settlement, and after the settlement join the road leading past the Church of St. Roko (join the road described in a). Follow the road to the right, and a little further on at the marked crossroads turn left in the direction of the Poštarski dom (Postman's Home). When you reach the Postman's House, park in a suitable place next to the mountain house.

Path description:
From Poštarski dom pod Plešivcem continue on the road, but only a few steps, as the sign for Uršlja gora then points right to cart track. Continue on the moderately ascending cart track for about 20 minutes. Higher up cart track makes a left turn and starts descending. After a short descent, it leads to a minor forest road, where you continue up to a footpath junction (minor cart track) to the left. Soon we are back on the minor road, which we follow to the right past a small quarry. Just a few tens of metres further on, a marked footpath to Uršljo gora branches off sharply to the left.
We take the above-mentioned path, which begins to climb steeply and which, after a 20-minute climb, leads us to a bench by the memorial plaque. A little further on, the path from Lake Ivarčko joins us at the cross.
Continue left to the next crossroads, where you turn right uphill. Just a few minutes further on, you will reach the forest road leading to Uršlja gora. After a short walk along the road, a footpath branches off to the right at a left-hand bend, leading to the Dom na Uršlji gora. The woods along the way then become thinner and thinner, opening up beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. A few steps before the Dom, the path leads back to the road, which you follow to the Dom na Uršlji gori.
