Ponikva/Hotunje - Razborje Ponds

Access to the starting point:
a) By train. . . Ponikva railway station.
b) By car. . . Leave the motorway at exit Dramlje and continue towards Šentjur. After three kilometres at the Dole roundabout, continue in the direction of Ponikva and after a total of approximately seven kilometres reach the railway line. You can park safely in front of the level crossing. The railway station is on the other side of the line and a little further to the right.

Path description:
Follow the asphalt road along the stream and under the railway line towards Zagaj pri Ponikvi. After a kilometre and a half, the asphalt surface turns to macadam and you follow it through the forest. Soon you reach a small settlement of houses, where you continue straight through the settlement and, when well marked, continue slightly to the left through the lower yard of one of the farmhouses onto a grassland path. The grassland path turns into a forest path, and then leads along the ponds, thus reaching the trail's destination, a point called Razborški rybniki (Razborški rybniki).
Continue up the forest path to the chapel, with the Church of St Ursula visible in the distance, and the motorway is also nearby.
