Access to the starting point:
a) From Motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take exit Lesce, then follow the signs for Žirovnica. Continue along the old road to Jesenice, which leads to Žirovnica, where you turn right and follow the signs for Završnice and Valvasorjev dom. When the road to Valvasor's House turns left, continue straight ahead and park just a short distance ahead in the marked parking lot by Lake Završnica.
b) Take the Jesenice, then continue along the old road towards Lesce. Turn left at the end of Polje and follow the signs for Završnica and Valvasorjev dom. When the road to Valvasor's House turns left, continue straight ahead and park just a little further on the marked parking area by Lake Završnica.
Path description:
Towards the end of the parking lot, you will see an information board with a picture of the trim trail, which is good to look at and remember for easier orientation.
At first, you walk along the asphalt road, but after a few steps you leave it and continue to the right on the macadam road, which continues along Lake Završnica. Walk along the lake for a few minutes, then the road ends and the path enters the forest and continues along the Završnica stream. A little further on, signs for a trim trail direct you to the left, onto a path that climbs a few metres and approaches an asphalt road. Continue straight ahead and you will quickly reach the Završnica Recreation Park, where you will go straight ahead past several points on the trim trail. At the props of the trim track, the path turns 180 degrees and the Zavrh bar is bypassed on the right hand side. There is a short descent and then cross the Završnica stream over a bridge. On the other side of the bridge, go right, where the path leads first across meadows and then through the forest. When you come out of the forest again, the path goes slightly right and continues along the lake, and on the other side of the lake, go right again and cross the lake over the dam.
After the dam, we reach the parking lot where we started our journey.
