Access to the starting point:
From Horjul or Dobrova, drive to Polhov Gradec, then continue to Črnji vrh. Just at the point where you see the sign for the end of Polhov Gradec, turn right in the direction of Macka graben and the Church of St Ursula. The road leads quickly to the next crossroads, at which point we park in a slightly larger parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot in Mačkovo graben we continue straight on in the direction of Gonte Farm, Tošča and Grmada (sharp right Setnica, St Ursula and Grmada) along the initially still asphalted road, which climbs moderately along Mačkovo graben, a stream on which we can see a number of small dams over which water is released. The road continues to lead us past a few houses, then narrows and loses its asphalt coating. The road then turns left, and we continue straight on, following the cart track, which starts to climb a little more steeply alongside the aforementioned stream. Higher up, cart track turns sharp left and leads us just a little higher out of the forest onto a scenic grassy hayfield, which we then climb in a few minutes to the Jelovčnik farm (686 m), where we re-enter the forest.
The path then descends gently and gradually turns slightly to the right. After a few minutes of easy walking, the path climbs steeply again, and after a few minutes of further walking, it leads out of the forest, where we see the Gonte Tourist Farm in front of us.
From the Gonte farm, continue left in the direction of Tošča (to the right Polhograjska Grmada) along the wide cart track, from which a marked footpath branches off to the left after only a few metres. Continue the ascent along the above-mentioned footpath, which turns into a forest and begins to climb moderately. The path then crosses some scenic grassy slopes and then passes to the Mali Tošč ridge, the top of which is reached after a few minutes.
From Mali Tošč there is a short descent, and then the path leads us to a small saddle, where the path from Govejk joins us from the right. Continue in the direction of Tošča along a slightly steeper path, which you then follow through the forest all the way to the top.

En velik plus te poti je lep pogled nazaj na Mačkov graben in Polhograjsko goro s senožeti pod kmetijo Jelovčnik. Človeku kar da malce zagona da se povzpne višje v upanju na lepši razgled

Po tej poti hodim že leta...lepi razgledi ... prvo na Tošč, nazaj še na Grmado in obvezno pred povratkom še mimo Mehačka... en lep krog
