Access to the starting point:
First, drive into the centre of Bovec, where you follow the road up past the church towards the village of Kaninska. Follow the road and it soon leads to a crossroads, where you turn left downhill towards the village Plužna (straight road to Kanin). The road then leads to the village Plužna, where you take a sharp right uphill in the middle of the village. The road then leads us to the last house in the village after which the road starts to descend and after 100m of descent leads us to the signposts where we park in a small parking lot near them.
Path description:
From the starting point, continue straight ahead (left down the Virje waterfall) along the road, which soon crosses the mostly dry (due to the power plant) bed of the Glijun stream. On the other side of the bridge, the path leads to a reservoir lake, but we turn right a few metres before it and follow the wide path to the spring, which we reach after a few minutes of further walking.
