Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Postojna and follow the road towards Ilirska Bistrica. The road then leads to a crossroads in the village of Pivka, where the road to Trnje turns left, Knežak straight ahead and Ilirska Bistrica to the right. Here you continue to the right but only until the next crossroads, which is only 50m away. At this junction, leave the main road and turn right onto a side road called Pot na Orlek (the name of the street). Follow this road to the church in the village, in front of which park in a suitable space.
Path description:
From the church parking lot, walk down the road that runs parallel to the railway. Soon you will see a sign on a telegraph pole pointing to the left onto a narrower road. After a few steps, this narrow road leads us to an underpass, after which we come to a crossroads of two cart tracks. Continue along the right-hand cart track, which climbs steeply over extensive meadows. At the end of the meadow, continue on the path which climbs parallel to the fence (straight ahead). The path then begins to climb moderately up an increasingly vegetated slope. After a few more minutes, the path enters the wods, where you can see the markings again (there are none from the underpass to here). The path, which mostly follows the cart track, leads you a little higher up to a cross dating from 1894. The way forward leads to the Osojnica headland from which there is a short folded descent and then a moderate climb to the summit.

Pozdravljeni! BILO KUDA, J SVUDA! Te dni sem si pozorneje ogledala križ in opazila na njem napis  .((fotografija) Drugače pa je ta pot zanimiva  . Všeč pa mi je tudi varianta iz Petelinj, posebno poleti (več sence). Iz Selc pa je malo daljša.

Lepa pot za malo rekreacije z enim malce strmejšim vzponom. Nekje na sredini poti se ob lepem vremenu ozrite nazaj, kjer pogled seže na Kamniško-Savinjske alpe, Pivško kotlino, Sv. Trojico in Snežnik. Iz vrha je zaradi gozdu malce zastrt pogled na Snežnik in Nanos, poleti pa tega zaradi listja skorajda ni.
Za malo težjo varianto si lahko izberete pot iz Kala (predvsem zadnji vzpon - traja kakih 10-15 minut - je kar strm).
