Možnica - Možnica river-beds

Access to the starting point:
From Bovec, drive to the Predel border crossing or vice versa. Just a few metres after the 10. 5 km road sign, you will see a small parking lot on the left side of the road (if you are coming from Predel on the right).

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the asphalted road downhill for 10 m (direction Bovec), then come to a crossroads where you turn sharp right in the direction of Apnenice. The macadam road, which is closed to public traffic, then crosses a wooden bridge and leads us on the other side to a marked crossroads, where we continue to the right (straight privat). The marked path then crosses a pasture fence and splits into two parts just after it.
Continue left in the direction of Možnice (straight ahead Apnenica and Log pod Mangartom) along a slightly steeper path which turns into a lane of a compacted forest. The path soon becomes level and leads us out of the forest onto grassy slopes with a view, along which we can see individual, mostly abandoned shepherd's huts. Higher up, the path leads us to a marked crossroads where we continue sharp left towards the troughs of the Možnice River. The path crosses the slopes and then passes into a dense forest where, after a few minutes of further walking, you reach a bridge over the troughs of the river Možnice.
If you want to see the waterfall with a natural bridge, you have to cross the bridge and on the other side continue left down a steep and partly exposed path. As this part passes under steep and crumbling cliffs, helmets are recommended.
Great care must be taken not to slip into the depths when visiting the waterfall. The path from the bridge to the waterfall is challenging.
