Access to the starting point:
Drive to Tržič, then drive through Dovžanovo gorge and Dolina to Jelendol. In Jelendol at Borna manor house, continue straight on, then follow the main road to the next forest road turn-off to the left, which is located by the Zali potok Hydroelectric Power Station. Park in a suitable place at the crossroads.
Path description:
From the main road, cross Tržiška Bistrica, then pass the MHPP building and continue along a relatively steep forest road. The road continues along the left side of the Zale Creek (right bank), a stream with two waterfalls higher up.
Above the two waterfalls you come to a dam, where you take a sharp left onto cart track, which starts to climb westwards, and at small forks you continue straight on. Higher up, at a roughly level crossroads, bear left, then up some serpentines to a dirt road, where bear left again.
Continue along the road, which slowly turns to the right, so that you arrive on the southern slopes of the Primožkov Hills from the northern slopes. A little further on, the road is completely flattened out, and at a suitable point you leave the road and climb up the ridge in a few steps. It is a few minutes' walk to the highest point of the ridge, from where we also get some views.
