Access to the starting point:
First, drive to Lokve (to get here from Nova Gorica or Most na Soči), then continue driving towards Predmeja. When you reach a large meadow, where you see a number of direction signs at the road junction, you are at Mali Lazna.
Access from Predmeja is also possible.
Path description:
From Mala Lazna, follow the forest road towards the Big Ice Cave in Paradana. The road goes quickly into the forest, where it then continues with a few short ascents and descents. After about 15 minutes, the road leads to a crossroads, where a marked path branches off to the right towards Iztok's hut.
At the crossroads, continue down to the right where you are directed by the signposts "Golaki, Iztokova koča 30min", and to the left the road leads on towards the Big Ice Cave in Paradana.
In the following, we walk along a dirt track through the forest and climb gently most of the time. Later, the track becomes slightly narrower and then leads back to the dirt road near the crossroads of several paths. At the crossroads, signposts direct us to a footpath through the forest, which leads us to the hut in 5 minutes.
