Access to the starting point:
First, drive to Lokve (to get here from Nova Gorica or Most na Soči), then continue driving towards Predmeja. When you reach a large meadow, where you see a number of direction signs at the road junction, you are at Mali Lazna.
Access from Predmeja is also possible.
Path description:
From Mala Lazna, follow the forest road towards the Big Ice Cave in Paradana. The road goes quickly into the forest, where it then continues with a few short ascents and descents. After about 15 minutes of walking, a marked path branches off to the right towards Iztok's hut, and we continue along the road, which leads us a little further to the markings for the Great Ice Cave.
At the markers for the Great Ice Cave, leave the road and continue walking along the initially wide path that begins to descend towards the cave. The path narrows lower down and with the help of some fixed safety gear, descends to the entrance of the cave.
