Access to the starting point:
Take the Gederovci (to get here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and continue driving towards Kuzma. Continue through Cankova, and when you reach Krašči, turn right in the direction of Lake Ledava. The road continues along the embankment to the south of the lake, and when you leave the embankment you will reach a parking area next to the information boards, where you park.
Path description:
At the parking lot, the signs for the Bernardino Trail direct you towards the lake, and when you reach it after a few 10 steps, continue to the right. The path ahead leads you directly along the lake, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding area. The path with a few information boards leads us a little further to a macadam road, which continues along the lake. A little further on, the road turns right and moves away from the lake, where it reaches a junction with an asphalt road behind a football field.
Straight across the road, the Bernardina trail continues along a side road, and we continue to the left, walking along a gently sloping asphalt road, from which a road soon branches off to the right towards the Ferencovi Tourist Farm. We continue straight ahead here, and walk some distance away from the lake. The road ahead leads to the village of Ropoča, and at a crossroads a few minutes away, go left. Continue north of the lake, crossing first the Lukaj stream and a little further on the Ledava river. When you reach the north-west side of the lake, before the houses, turn left onto the embankment, where a barrier prevents motor vehicles from passing. Walk along the embankment for a while and at the Ropoča polygon you will reach the main road Cankova - Rogašovci.
Continue along the left edge of the main road, and when you reach Krašči, turn left towards Ledava Lake. Continue along the lookout embankment south of Ledava Lake to the place where you started.
