Jelendol (mansion Puterhof) - Primožkovi hribi

Access to the starting point:
Drive to Tržič and then through Dovžanovo gorge to Jelendol, where you can park at a suitable place at the crossroads below the Puterhof.

Path description:
From the starting point, take the road to the left in the direction of Dolžanka and the mountains Kofce, Šija, Pungrat and Tegošče (straight ahead Medvodje, mountain pasture Dolga njiva. . . ). The way forward takes us past the Puterhof Manor, where the path to the left branches off towards the chapel and Maly and Veliki Juhej, and we continue straight on, where we pass a few more houses, then the asphalt ends, and we continue walking along the Dolžanka stream. At a higher altitude, we move slightly to the left of the stream, where there are two game feeders along the right-hand serpentine, and then we return to the stream for a few minutes. Then move away from the stream once more, gradually approaching the mountain pasture Dolžanka, which can be seen to the left above the road, and there are some paths branching off towards mountain pasture. At the last fork of the path towards the above-mentioned mountain pasture there are also signposts and markings, and we continue along the road which leads us past the cottage to a left serpentine where we leave the road. The cart track descends gently to a small stream, along which you climb for a short time, and then the cart track turns right and starts to climb visibly. At the first crossroads follow the wider cart track, which turns left and is abandoned and continued right to the older cart track, which passes onto the north-west slopes of Primožkovi hribi. Here you continue on cart track for a while, but higher up it turns into old but still clearly visible tracks of motocross engines. Before reaching the saddle between the summit of Malo Hudo Brdo on the left and Primožkovi hribi on the right, keep slightly right to reach cart track. Follow Cart track to the right, and when it ends, follow a fainter track that climbs crossways to the ridge of Primožkovi hribi, where you reach a dirt road.
Follow the road to the right, and at a suitable point climb up the ridge and then in 3 minutes climb to the highest point of the ridge, from which you will also get some nice views.
