Access to the starting point:
Take the road to Murska Sobota, then follow the signs for Hodoš. In Gornji Petrovci turn right towards Križevce and from Križevce follow the main road towards Kančevci. After the evangelical church in Križevci, the settlement ends and you reach a small crossroads where there is a hunting observation post. Leave the main road here towards Kančevci and Sebeborci and continue driving slightly to the right, then go left for about 100 m to park in a suitable place near the hunting lodge of LD Križevci in Prekmurje.
Path description:
From the hunting lodge, return to the tarmac road and then continue south-west. After a few minutes, the road turns right (at the bend, a macadam road branches off in a straight direction, descending towards the Ratkovski brook, then ascending to the marked path Gornji Petrovci - Kančevci) and gradually passes into the forest. When you leave the forest, go right at a small crossroads, and after a short descent, you will reach the above-mentioned marked path, which you follow to the right. The asphalt road continues to climb, and we quickly follow it up to the top of Kamenek, where we see a trigonometric tower to the left of the path, but we cannot get to it because of the field.
