Expano - Sobota Lake (circular path around the lake)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Pomurje motorway at exit Murska Sobota, then follow signs Murska Sobota - East. Before the start of Murska Sobota, turn right towards Expan, where you can park in a parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk past the Expano to the lakeshore, where you continue to the right. The path ahead leads along a footpath, first along a well-maintained beach and then to the motor park, where you will walk a little away from the lakeshore itself. A little further on, a yellow sign with the inscription SURF and SUP klub Pomurje directs you left onto a well-worn path that continues along the lake, the view of the lake itself partly covered by lush vegetation. The path continues past the aforementioned club, from where a beautiful view of the lake opens up, and the path returns among the tall grasses and bushes. After a few minutes, the path widens and a little further on reaches a dirt road, which you follow to the left. Continue on the dirt road, which passes under a low embankment, and at a left-hand bend the path turns from the south-eastern shore of the lake to the north-eastern shore, where it continues on the dirt road. At the northern edge of the lake you reach an asphalt road, where you turn left at the MOL petrol station.
Continue past the Shower shop and then continue along the edge of the cycle path that runs along the main road. When you leave the area near Pomgrad d. d. , you approach the lake again, and when the footpath opens on the left, you continue along the lake. After a few minutes of walking, we pass the Fisherman's Home and arrive at the Expan, where we started.
