Dobrič - Gora Oljka

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Celje motorway, take the Šempeter exit and follow the road towards Polzela. At Polzela, the signs for Gora Oljka direct you to the right. The road then leads to the village of Podvin at Polzela, where you will see the next sign for Mount Oljeka. Turn right here and follow the road up to the crossroads by the mountain signs for Mount Oljeka. Park in a suitable place nearby, no parking is allowed at the junction.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the road towards Gora Oljka. The asphalted road leads past the chapel and out of the forest onto the slopes. After a good 15-minute walk, the path leads to the Jug guest house, where there is a registration box. Just a little further on, leave the road and turn left up a marked footpath that climbs moderately through the forest. After a short climb, you will come to a worse road, which you follow to the left and leave after 30m. Continue right up the path, which climbs quite steeply. Soon the steepness eases and the path leads to the next chapel, where you continue right to a fork in the path. At the crossroads where Martin's path joins us, continue left and follow the path to the top, which is reached after five minutes of further walking.
