Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenica take the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and on to Bohinjska Bistrica. From Bohinjska Bistrica turn left towards Tolmin and Soriška mountain pasture. Follow this road to a large parking lot near the Soriška ski centre mountain pasture.
From Železniki go to Podbrdo or vice versa, but only as far as where the signs for Soriška planina direct you to the ascending road. Follow this road to the large parking lot at the foot of the Soriška ski slope mountain pasture.
Path description:
From the parking lot at Bohinj saddle, follow the macadam road towards Litostrojska hut on Soriška mountain pasture. After less than 5 minutes of gentle ascent, you will reach the mountain hut, from which you will have a view of the nearby grassy slopes of the surrounding peaks.
From the hut continue along the marked path in the direction of Šavnik, Cairn and Lajnarja. After a few 10 steps we reach a less visible crossroads, where the path to Možic branches off slightly to the right, and we continue straight on in the direction of Lajnar. The way forward initially climbs gently along the edge of the lift, then begins to climb slightly steeper towards the saddle between Lajnar on the left and Mali Slatnik on the right.
After about half an hour's walk, you will reach the aforementioned saddle, where there is a crossroads of several paths. Continue to the right (Lajnar on the left) in the direction of Slatnik, Cairn, Šavnik and Črna prst along the marked path, which passes to the coastal side of the ridge (it is also possible to continue along the ridge). There is a slight climb along the lookout mulatier, and then the path leads to the pass between the two Slatnik mountains.
Continue slightly to the right (sharp right Mali Slatnik 10-15 minutes) along the wide path, which leads us in a slight ascent slightly above the old military barracks.
Continue slightly left, and slightly downhill (sharp left on a grassy ridge top Slatnik 5 minutes) on a path that starts to descend towards a small saddle where the next crossroads is.
Continue straight on (left down Šavnik) along the old military causeway, which starts to climb slightly. Follow this pleasant path all the way to the top of Cairn, which is reached after a few minutes of further walking.

Odločam se kam bi šla v nedeljo. Pa me zanima, če kdo kaj ve, koliko časa potrebuješ za krožno pot Lajnar-Dravh-Slatnik-Šavnik-Možic? Ok, razmere bodo prav gotovo zimske, tko da lahko rečem, da bo čas, ki bi ga potrebovala za to pot, neprimerno večji od normalnih razmer, tj. v kopnih razmerah.

Jaz sem letos pomladi (kopne razmere) pot Litostrojska koča-Šavnik-Možic-Slatnik-Lajnar-Dravh-Litostrojska k. prehodil v slabih 4h. Brez hitenja. Edinole na Šavnik se mal vleče, ker je precej iz poti. Najprej se moraš kar nekaj spustit iz sedla med Slatnikom in Možicem in potem vzpon na vrh Šavnika. Potem pa vse ponoviš še v obratni smeri. Priporočam, da začneš z Šavnikom.

Ja jz res upam, da mi bo tole uspel  . Del tega sem enkrat v mladosti že prehodila, pa me zelo zelo mika, da bi še enkrat v snegu šla  . Pa obeta se lepa sončna nedelja, tko da bo za izkoristit. Še enkrat vama hvala za tole.
