Potočka zijalka

Description of mountain:
Potočka zijalka is a 115m long and 20-40m wide karst cave on the southern slopes of Olševa. In 1928, Professor Brodar discovered an ancient stone-age dwelling dating back 40,000 years. They found 40 species of animals, one of which was the cave bear. In addition to the animals, they also found bone and stone tols and the remains of hearths. The historical material is kept in the Celje Provincial Museum.
