Description of church:
Stiška vas is a small village in the municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, in Upper Gorenjska. The village lies on a wide terrace south of Krvavec. In addition to the village centre with a church, the settlement includes the hamlets of Hribašek to the west and Škrjančevo to the east. The village church is dedicated to the Holy Cross and dates back to 1751. The church has Stations of the Cross painted by Leopold Layer (1752-1828). The church in Stis was once a much-visited Lenten pilgrimage site. Every Lenten Friday a procession from Grad went there, but now there are Lenten Masses with the Stations of the Cross every Sunday afternon.
