Description of mountain hut:
Mihov dom na Vršiču is located on the Kranj Mountains side of the Ruska cesta above Veliko Pišnica, halfway from Lake Jasna to the Vršič Pass. The house is situated at an altitude of 1085 metres. Despite the nearby forests, the view from the house is one of the most beautiful; on the eastern side there are the Martuljek Mountains with Špik above the extensive Cirque, and to the right of them there is an extremely beautiful view of Škrlatica, Rakova Špica, Rogljica, Dovški Gamsovec; on the south side, the walls of Prednja glava and Goličica in Prisojnik rise above the nearby Velika Pišnica, and to the right, between the walls of Prisojnik and Mojstrovka, we can see the much lower green Vršič; to the west and north, a ridge rises above the lodge, with Robič, Visoki Mavrinc, Kumlehova glava, Veliki Kumleh, and Škrbinjek, which stretches from Mojstrovka to Kranjska Gora (Kranjska Gora).
