Petelinjsko jezero

Description of lake:
Petelinjsko jezero, is the second largest intermittent lake in the Pivka basin. The lake, which holds water for about half of the year, is about 1 km long and 500 m wide, and the water can rise up to 10 m in height. Petelinjsko jezero is also home to a species of crayfish that lives only in this lake (crayfish are up to 1.5 cm long).
