Grintovec

Description of peak:
Grintovec is the highest peak in the Kamnik and Savinja Alps. It is located above the valley of Kamniška Bistrica, Suhi dol and above the valley of Ravenska Kočna. The view from the summit is most beautiful towards Jezersko and Kokrska Kočna on the western side, while to the north you can see the Jezersko valley and the peaks above Jezersko; to the east you can see the ridge of the Grintovci from Dolgi Hrbet, over Štruca to Skuta. To the south, Kalški greben is visible with the Ljubljana Basin in the background. The summit has a registration book and a stamp.
