Poglej Church

Description of mountain:
Poglejska cerkev is a cave - a rock peak with a small cavity on the outskirts of the village of Poljšica near Zgornje Gorje, where archaeologists have found human tols from the Old Stone Age, proving the existence of prehistoric man in the Triglav Mountains before the agricultural cultures. A bronze coin and a bronze ring from the later settlement of the ancient Slavs were also found during the excavation. The visitor has a beautiful view of Gorje, the Gorenjska ravan, Bled, Pokljuka, Debela peč, Rjavina and Triglav.
