Cjajnik / Lärchenturm

Description of peak:
Cjajnik is a distinctive rock tower located on the Austrian side of the Kosuta Ridge. From the top of the large wedge, there is a beautiful view of the northern walls of the Košuta and Austrian Carinthia. Two very difficult climbing routes were led to the summit a few years ago, which reach difficulty C and D respectively (A to E scale). The ascent of Cjajnik should only be undertaken in stable weather with good mental preparation, fitness and hand strength. A helmet and a self-belay kit are compulsory for the ascent of Cjajnik, and climbing gloves are recommended.
