Yesterday to Great Peak via climbing path from Planina Korošica to Hajnževo sedlo and then to Great Peak. Since a little group gathered, we decide to do a loop and descend from Great Peak to Kofce. So we leave one car at Matizovec farm. Drivers head from Kofce to the starting point, the rest can enjoy some more lounging in the sunshine. The path and yesterday's day - what can I say.. fantastic.velik nasmeh

On Sunday from starting point Vranček across Planina Korošica to Hajnževo sedlo and then via climbing path to Great Peak. Descent towards home to Kofce and on to Matizovec farm. Thanks to the friendly hiker for the lift to my starting point.

Today I walked the path that Elma had already described before me. Protections without peculiarities, just those wire ropes end too quickly nasmeh But today Košuta provided really bad views, mists raced along the ridge all the time, it was windy and it really chilled me on the summit. Yeah, that's our Košuta, full of surprises, again and again, and that's why I like her so much!

Vranček, Planina Korošica, Hajnževo sedlo, via climbing route to Veliki vrh. Mists accompanied me to the summit, so there were no nice views. I returned to the saddle and since the weather started improving I went to Košutica too and had no regrets. From summit towards Planina Korošica. A bit before planina then right on hunter's path to valley. Climbing route to Veliki vrh is short, nicely secured, maybe at one or two spots another peg would be useful. Cross on Košutica is different and at another place.

Here you find the description of the starting point, you need to be a bit more attentive, because this lane is right after the bend.

jprim, thanks, I really discovered that thing here later... I'm just a newbie on hribi.net and exploring... I'm thinking where to leave the car... Vranček, Planina Korošica.. going from V. Vrh to Kofce.. then.. Podljubelj, then a bit back... GOOD LUCK in the mountains and such... I personally wish everyone!

On a holiday day the path takes me to the mountains where I didn't have time until yesterday. Beautiful tour (Vranček-planina Korošica-Hanjževo sedlo-Veliki vrh (climbing)-Kofce-Matizovec), especially to the top of Veliki vrh, later holiday bustle, on Kofce a crowd of hikers with city habits of course.
Climbing path very well arranged, only unfortunately the joy ends too quickly, just when you warm up. View of the surroundings incredibly beautiful.
P.S. Thanks to the young family from Kranj (KR-HA..8) for the transport from Matizovec to the parking lot under Vranček, about 9 km of road.
P.S.2- I can't get that dog owners (read little calves I mean dogs, due to size, no mistake!), force them to the top of Veliki vrh, I think a walk to Kofce is enough, that grazing to the top of the hill seems like animal torture to me. And of course laughter, a bit below the top a guy carries a cat in his arms. It made me laugh all the way down.
P.S.3-Skuta struklji on Kofce are first league!

Today I got the chance to take my granddaughter to her first two-thousander. And we climbed two. We started at Mrzli studenec, past the chapel to the Kofce pasture and on via Toplar to Veliki vrh. Path dry, nice weather, only a bit windy on the top nasmeh. On the way back we treated ourselves to chocolate and blueberry struklji on Kofce.

This morning a beautiful warm autumn day dedicated to the hunting path to Korošica pasture, which is still open and has unusual guestszmeden. Then to Hajnževo sedlo and via secured path to Veliki vrh, descent to Kofce and to Matizovec. Maybe if you have two cars or decide for hitchhiking... Path without special features, autumn-colored, mushrooms still growing. After twelve fogs arrived with wind, but no force. Kofce also open and full, of course.

I went today to check how much snow there is... and purely from that point of view went back a bit disappointed.. Too little...mežikanje But everything else was fantastic, even when the weather worsened and the sun hid, in the end it showed enough to serve a truly fairy-tale sunset.. The rest let the pictures say...

Today from Matizovec to Kofce and on to Veliki vrh. To Kofce snow up to 5 cm, like sugar on a donutnasmeh Further on more, on top wind-packed snow, locally up to knees. Entire path from Kofce onwards foggy and not yet trodden. Quite nasty for orientation, Garmin saved the day. On top the sun was visible but didn't break through the clouds, otherwise wind and cold. Conditions completely wintry.
