Samok, ...I wrote that I agree and feel similar to what Simon wrote... I too just lived for a long time, until due to health problems I realized that I must feel alive too... I changed my way of life and that means that now I feel alive toonasmeh
I see no arrogance in this, just enjoying lifenasmeh we never, but really never know how much of it we have.

Today nice ridge traverse from Mala Mojstrovka to the top of Šita. To Mala Mojstrovka via Hanzova, which luckily wasn't besieged early in the morning. Then towards Velika Mojstrovka and along the top of the ridge to Travnik and Kola. From here I walked for the first time but there were no major problems finding passages. Mostly I stuck to the top of the ridge, bigger detour necessary only to access the notch before Šita summit. To the notch on the north side fairly easy ledge, which is quite exposed. To Šita summit then some smooth slabs, which don't pose major problems to more experienced. Back to Vršič then via marked path.

For a long time I wanted to go along this ridge at least to Travnik, I viewed it from everywhere, from the path to Jalovška škrbina, from Suh vrh, from Zadnja Trento, considered various descent options, and traversing southern ridges below these peaks. Definitely the descent over Velika dnina was important, following traces of yellow markers.

Well, an opportunity with PD Medvode came up, so I took it yesterday. And even over Šitna glava our route wentnasmeh
From home I drove in rain, at Vršič the beginnings of a nice day were already showing.

Good that the guides didn't yield to worse weather forecasts like others, since we didn't meet anyone even at Mala Mojstrovka.
At Aljaž we quickly got to beer.

Yesterday, 15.6., visit to the ridge from Nad Šitom glave to Rob Velike Dnine. Between NŠG and Mala Mojstrovka snowfields are more for decoration than an obstacle, from MM to VM the picture is reversed, as the lower snowfield must be crossed, which in softened snow is no problem, past the upper one one needs to find another passage. Further the path without special features, simple mountaineering pleasure. Descent at the notch between Travnik and ZM via scree to the path marked with faded markers and cairns, to the junction of the south path to MM and then to Vršič.

Today from Vršič over Mala, Velika and Zadnja Mojstrovka, Travnik, Rob Velike Dnine to Šit summit and back to Vršič via lower path. Passages are fairly easy to find, except at the fore-summit of Šit, where one needs to know to go on the north side, along exposed ledge. From Šit summit one needs to descend southeast over steep rocky terrain. I didn't find any paths or yellow markers there, about which so much is said.

It was nice to wait yesterday for the sunrise on Mojstrovka. As many as five people and a sheep with a lamb gathered at the top. Then onwards along the ridge. To Travnik the path is well marked with cairns, from there onwards fewer and fewer, obviously everyone goes a bit their own way from there. I myself from Travnik onwards stuck to the ridge, below Šite I went down and caught a poorly visible trail that brought me to the marked path that leads to Jalovec. Along it I headed up to the glacier and the hut under Špička. On this section there are still some snow patches, but doable without winter gear. Returned along the marked path to Vršič (both water intakes are dry), walking with breaks added up to thirteen hours.

First to Šitna glava, then to Mala Mojstrovka. Continued to Zadnja Mojstrovka, then I alone still to Travnik. Descended south and headed to the peak of Travnik completely unknown to me. Descended and across pathless terrain, faded marks back to marked path, another rest, wait for part of the team, then descended towards Vršič. Weather nice, beautiful, almost windless and warm, views excellent.

Today's goal was Travnik at the end of the Mojstrovke ridge.
Bypassed the latter already in the lower part of the path. Separated from the marked path and continued past Suhi vrh. Weather soured in the afternoon and fogs chased me away, bringing low temperatures.

Via Hanzova to Mala, via so-called winter variant to Velika, along the ridge to Zadnja Mojstrovka. Then fog rolled in, time started running out for us and we left Travnik for next time. Maybe then together with Šite.
No winter gear needed, nowhere. Enter Hanzova without issue too.

Today via Hanzova to MM. Then to Velika, Zadnja and to Travnik.
Descent along yellow marks back to Vršič.
Had some trouble descending from Travnik to Velika Dnina. Wasn't entirely sure if I got it right. But it worked.mežikanje

I checked, but I'm interested in what the terrain looks like in practice. Unfortunately the Travnik ridge isn't visible from the link.
And there was no word about any "path under the ridge".
