@exwannabe, how I agree... so many times I've said I won't go anymore, but still decided on Monday (1.8. to wait for sunrise up there too). Luckily no one anywhere, we really went from Planika, was an hour too fast (it was really cold), then lights started coming slowly. A few gathered, but except one dude in crocs, nothing special. It was nice, down to Kredarica where at 6 there was already a whole procession. Oh, now I really have enough of it for a while, there are so many nicer and less crowded mountains.

In recent years Triglav is much nicer and calmer to observe from some neighboring, nearby peak. I have exactly the same experiences as in the articles above.

@Kegl: passage from Dolič to Prehodavci is open, I hiked it yesterday in the mentioned direction. But it's ... adrenaline-packed and really only for very experienced mountaineers. Narrow exposed ledges, fixed protections only at the most critical spots. Definitely only for dry weather. I'd say it goes easier from Dolič towards Prehodavci, as difficulty increases gradually. In the opposite direction it might twist you already quite at the beginning.

Yeah? As far as I remember, from Dolič side that "Watch out" passage is already quite soon after the start. And to me it seemed really tricky only there. The rest goes fine.

Jax, I confirm that that passage is even a bit easier if you go from Prehodavci to Dolič. With the years come experiences and it seems funny where you once described it as difficult

For me personally it was a better choice to go from Dolič towards Prehodavci. But before going, I gathered courage for quite a while and in the end convinced myself that it's not as horrible as I read in the comments. But I agree, in dry conditions, very carefully, attentively, and not for those who have vertigo problems ...and in the end a wonderful memory.

I guess how the term "passage" crept in for the Path of Mira Marko Debelakova
Besides, few include it as a path to Triglav or from it. Last week I hiked it with colleagues after almost 50 years. Full praise to all who made it passable and still maintain it!

"Passage" was a bit far-fetched here, but actually quite fitting.
It was an ancient passage of Trent hunters, which locals call "Skoz rižo". Colloquially also Čez Kanjavčeve police. The Path of Mira Marko Debelakova is used the least, which had nothing to do with this path. It was just a nice idea of some mountaineering official after they marked the path, secured it a bit and opened it in 1963.

it's one of the most scenic paths, where you feel tickling in your stomach when you look down into Trento from the ledge to a depth of about 1000 m. I plan to repeat it this September after almost 10 years.

"passage" was meant that slightly harder spot-sheltered, slightly narrow ledge on outward slope, not the entire connection.

Hi,
do you maybe know how it is with crowds if I go to Triglav from Planika and not from Kredarica? I know Kredarica is the pilgrim path... what about Planika during the week? Is it somewhat more bearable? And I don't mean via Škrbina.

You probably don't know, but a bit below Mali Triglav the path merges, so from there you'll be a proper pilgrim
During the week no panic re crowds. At Planika head for the Gorjanska pot sign, never crowded there. Difficulty-wise no harder than the one you mentioned and you arrive nicely from the left up, down you go right to Kredarica or Planika. Good luck
