Thanks. Yes, on Monday and Tuesday it was really exceptionally nice weather: without a cloud and not too hot. When walking in the dark I first check the path on a daytime tour, even if I know the path. It was the same now: the day before I had already descended from Triglav to Planika in daylight. On easy terrain I use only a headlamp, when the path becomes demanding I also turn on the light on the belt and one on each leg.

Yes, it snowed quite nicely in the mountains. Even on Orlove glave 1664m it's white. In the coming days the snow in high mountains will even freeze and last about a week, so careful up there.

Tomorrow's approach to Triglav will definitely be different from summer one. Due to low temperatures rocks will be encased in ice, especially when today during day temperature rises to positive degrees (snow melting), so up go those who know what awaits them and how to summit in such conditions. Lower down on screes I think no problem for ascents. Lp-Rok

I called Kredarica and they told me there's 5 cm of snow up there and some went up to Triglav today without crampons....that's how it is.

Given that thousands of hikers visit our daddy in summer, it's natural that the mountain wraps itself in white protective color and rests a bit from the crowds. Our land is very much alive with the mountains. Holy Mother told us that she feels and knows who walks on her. Finally, for a true mountaineer Triglav doesn't mean the highest trophy, but many beautiful peaks around. Tomorrow I'm heading to Karavanke and I'll be fine there.
