Me too, I was up there on Friday. However, on the easier variant. A day for gods.

Summer rolling eyes, but some small snow below the summit, and in some gully that the path crosses.

Hi.

Yesterday I set off to check this peak and planned the tour up the left and down the classic.

Up on the path to Montaž there's still quite some snow, when the path branches to Špik there's practically no snow. On the top I was quite lucky the weather held, the classic path has no peculiarities.

Yesterday I spent a special day, finally in the mountain kingdom. I parked the car at Nevea Saddle. Then I walked along the pleasant trail no. 623 to Rifugio Brazzà. There were already quite a few visitors. I drank hot tea and asked a bit about the weather, as it was quite cloudy, opposite to the forecasts. Then I headed towards Špik Hude police and I wasn't the only one. Quite a few of us went up there today. Along the way I had constant company of ibex and there was a group on the summit too. They were all sorts, younger, older, some had already changed fur, others still in full molt....we studied each other a bit, they weren't afraid. Very used to people. They dug a lot in the ground under rocks and found who knows what.........Something they really like.......It was constantly quite cloudy. Now and then the sky opened. On the way back I went to Montaž, where I had marmot company. There were plenty, but hard to photo as they hide quickly. Colorful flowers abound too. At malga Pecol, where they sell their cottage cheese, yogurts and butter, along with local cheeses and prosciutto, cows graze and people swarm around there, but only there....elsewhere fewer visible. I returned on the asphalt road and ate my fill of forest strawberries. In short, an extremely pleasant day!

From the Pecol pasture in complete darkness we head to the summit. At the Brazza hut dawn begins and we turn off the lights. All the time we walk in the cool, light breeze, the sun warms us only shortly below the summit, which we reach before 7. Hardly photographed, it clouds over, clouds cover the sun, which only clear when we're almost back at the pasture. And if the sun pleasantly warmed only below the summit, on the return from the upper edge of Pecol pasture to the start it was already properly hot. Visibility today was fantastic.

Family trip to nice places. We took advantage of a nice sunny day, here and there a mini cloud passed by.
We were slower because our youngest had many excuses for slowing "speed" ... motivation dropped to minimum. Then "to help" velik nasmeh came the horned locals eek and the path to the summit became more interesting and faster. Down we had constant company of numerous ibex; those who want to see them up close, they're waiting here !!!
Wow! Isn't it nice? We'll go up there when we've grown a bit more ...1

Aha! The horns are already visible. Who is that?5

our eldest. Just a few hours ago she found everything pointless :-(9
they are not related, although his older sister claims otherwise :-)10

is that a chamois or an ibex? :-))12
yeah yeah. You just keep photographing!!!13
of course. Beauty is no accident ...14
the photographer asks the horned animal for a nice shot. Will it comply? Next photo ...15
complied. It worked out well.16
is there another chamois somewhere for a short chat?17
not up for it. Completely unmotivated ...18
Discussion. You stay there, we'll go down where there's wi-fi :-))19
goes ahead of us. Whoever is beautiful is beautiful everywhere!!!20
now there are already two. Do you dare go on? Without fear :-)21
You go down there, I stay here.22

Hi, I'm interested in the drivability of the road from Sella Nevea pass to Pecol? Nice mountain greeting, Metka.

I was there last week, the road was normally drivable. I assume it's the same these days, no rain since then. Snow starts above Pecol somewhere above 2100m. Happy trails!
