Yeah, super you are, no doubt! Thanks for ideas! Some I've already "hunted" myself too, many are new, unknown tours to me! Thanks, I'll try to circle as many as possible. In worst case, I'll go to local hill, where at base there's one larch and I'll admire that one

Yesterday a family trip to Slemenova Špica. Lots of hikers, excellent weather, wonderful views. The path is muddy in places and therefore slippery, so caution won't hurt. Good luck in the mountains.

Hello!
Next week we'd go to Slemenovo špico from Vršiča. Since it's a group of retirees and grandkids, I don't want to upset them
No one has ever been a mountaineer and I assume they aren't up for snow.
What are the conditions, i.e. how much snow is on the path. Some photo from Mojstrovke downwards welcome

I wouldn't make such a panic. True, right after the saddle on the north side the path is still all under snow, but due to settling the snow practically doesn't sink. If you go through the valley under Mojstrovke screes, there's no danger of slipping, practically all flat to under Slemen. And you can turn back anytime. Path to saddle is dry. Just my opinion, everyone decides for themselves.
