Today some trailbreaking in untouched snowy whiteness to the top of Šitna glava. At the top cold and windy.

Nice photos. Nice mix of early autumn and even earlier winter. It's nicely whitened I see. Thanks for info. Can't wait for next week when I go on a tour or two myself...

Before snow covers the entrance to Hanzovo, once more up to Šitna glava.
Before that also to Slemenova špica. Some short snow patches still on the path but equipped with deep footprints.
It was nice, nice weather, larches nicely colored and no wind blowing.
Also stopped at Jasna.

I went to Šitna glava, before that to Prednje robičje.
Via Hanzova and along the ridge to Šitna glava.
And also went to check Vršič vrh.

Yesterday I was on Šitna glava for the first time. The path is nicely followable, maybe just a bit strenuous in the upper part due to scree.

Today pre-Šitna tour. Given the conditions...maybe one of the last this year mrk pogled Thaw already strongly felt, half of the ascent in short sleeves. The snow was sinking quite deeply when skiing down, except in the upper part.
