Today I went to Povna peč. The path to the summit is trodden, but the trail in the upper part is somewhat narrower.

Today sunny and warm, 11°C at Ljubelj. Path to the top well trodden. From Koča na Ljubelju to Ljubelj sledging conditions unsuitable, snow starts only at the chapel.

Some have already gone to Povna peč, but still snow. Also occasional snow on Ljubeljščica ridge.

Today I went to Povna peč. There is still snow in the last part of the path, where the steep northern slopes are crossed. Winter gear is needed for safe passage.

On Sunday we went to Povna peč to test hiking boots that we'll take to the sea with us. There were huge crowds up to the Ljubelj hut, almost none further. Some sun only on the descent.
