So we can't say which posts are interesting to us?nasmeh
Regarding posting, everyone decides for themselves if they will post something or not. No one forces them to do it. That's the only right thing.

Does anyone have current info on the road drivability to Planina Zapleč and Zaprikraj?
Thanks and best regards

We were up there 14 days ago. The road is, as it has been for a long time, suitable for higher off-road vehicles. For lower ones some ditches are a problem.

valerija112: Thanks for the answer. I was up 10 years ago with a normal car and the road was drivable without issue. Obviously conditions have changed nasmeh

I was up this summer 2x with a higher vehicle, yet it still seemed a very bad road to me, some ditches are very deep. But each time someone was up with a regular car, can't imagine how they got through.

I was there last year with a regular car (Golf). It went more slowly and at some spots it scraped a bit on the underbody. If that doesn't bother you, then it barely goes, but I don't recommend it.

...I was on Wednesday 06.09.2023 with a Fiat Doblo to Pl. Zapleč. 90% of the way driving in first gear both up and down. As someone already mentioned, the rocks stand upright when it suddenly rattles on the bottom, one tire went "rakom žvižgat", otherwise yes, it can be done, you just need good nerves. If you have a SUV, there are no problems. Matjaž

Yesterday from Loga Čezsoškega up the steep mulatjera to Špik. Lots of fallen trees and branches on the way, the path is barely followable. Just above the forest shoulder called Mali Polovnik the mulatjera is completely clogged with trees, passage is difficult, I continued off-trail higher to the level area where the path is visible again, fallen wood sawn, to the summit the path is normally passable. The path runs through the forest all the way, only at V. Polovnik do you step out of the forest. I descended the same path to Mali Polovnik, then left to the gentle mulatjera. Also there is plenty of fallen wood, no special issues. In this time the steeper mulatjera is always in shade, the gentler one on the sunny side and more scenic. Met no one except a couple of chamois on top.

Nice hike.
Is that the mulatjera where you descended, the one clearly visible from Žaga?
What's its condition (passable)?

winni: I don't know if it's visible from Žaga, I came from Bovec. Mulatjera is normally passable, in the upper part there are some fallen trees on the path, two passages are a bit tricky, how it is further from pic no.8 I don't know.

On Sunday from Magozd via Štefka's path to Pirhovec and Špik. There were quite a few hikers, temperatures already quite summery, avrikelj already blooming. On the way back, a nice sight of circling hawks.

2.5.2025 Mulatjera from Log Čezsoški to Veliki Polovnik is nicely passable. A bit further I met two who probably traversed the ridge in the opposite direction, and in Drežniške Ravne a group of three who started hiking in Log a few hours before me. Didn't see any ticks, which doesn't mean there aren't any winking
But at the start of the traverse a nice blue butterfly welcomed me, sunbathing carefree on a rock.big
