Nice one, you nailed this I remember times, twenty years ago, around there, when acquaintances went several times from Jesenice to Dovje by bus, then with touring skis to Baba, from there to Koprivnjak, then skied to Austria, to Podrožca, if I'm not mistaken, and from there by train back to Jesenice.

PETELINJEK 1552 m Petelinjek is almost 50 m higher, quite overgrown summit near Tromeja, but offers wonderful views of the Western Julians, Carnic Alps, Gailtal Alps, Hohe Tauern and even reaches to the Dolomites, as yesterday Antelao shone in all its beautiful snowy form. I only noticed at home that Veliki Klek (Großglockner) was also well visible. There's also a ski lift to Petelinjek, not in use this year yet. Yesterday quite a few of our paragliders took it down to the valley. So yesterday both first time on this somewhat special peak. Initially planned ascent from Italy, just across the border, but then decided for approach from Korensko sedlo, since we never did any tour from there. We did almost a full circular tour, ascent on the marked Austrian path, return on Slovenian unmarked, in the second part nice zigzag path, which we left a bit before the end and went left across the stream to the first path. If doing the tour from Korensko sedlo, I recommend exactly this variant!
