Unfortunately, we can read that the fault in the electrical wiring is to blame. So indirectly the human factor again. Turning off the fuses before leaving any building that you're leaving for a longer time takes a minute. Maybe this will be a lesson for all the others so we won't collect next year for a new burned hut.

Your comparisons have nothing to do with my statements.
The first to greedily take donations in the case of Kocbekov dom on Korošica was RKC. How much they sold the completely useless land for them, where a mountain hut will once stand, only they and PD Celje-Matica know. I hope it won't run out for them.
As for hustling, I wrote that in a comparative sense. Calculate how much a "rogeca" costs, subtract all costs and you'll get the remainder. No devil that after a full season something wouldn't remain for the association from beer and much more.

The info about the sale of land on Korošica was published. 11,000 € for 3000 m2.
For that money I'd buy such a plot too.

This wasn't exactly cheap considering it's land that's neither forest, meadow nor arable. It's mountain pasture. Average price of agricultural land in 2018 was 1.45€/sqm. Forest price 0.55€. RKC fleeced Celjani for 3.666 € per meter. Really a lucrative deal,
Buildable only for replacement construction of a mountain hut and nothing else!!

Julius, why mislead and spread hatred - RKC sold for as much as Celjani were willing to pay, if RKC built the hut and charged you 5€/beer you'd freak out, but if PD Celje does it you'll be all happy
Six pack next door is 5.94€ - on sale even less, not speaking of wholesale price. And now calculate (beer price on Kredarica is 4.5€ - and helicopter has to bring it - so selling to association pays off big so they don't fight for "ownership" over huts for nothing and if PD can "grease mustache" I don't know why RKC should donate land to someone who doesn't do charity (RKC donated land for maternity home)

Rajko, I go crazy already when paying taxes, RKC doesn't. And they whine what all they have to return, what all is theirs. And when local firebrand walks around helpless pensioners without heirs I also feel like explaining him one or two things.
Given what all RKC has and what benefits they have they could donate a lot. Just like someone else donated for "Religious center" in Ljubljana.
When on Slovenian peaks instead of crosses we'll see crescents and stars will the people themselves tear it down and throw into valley? Because RKC surely won't move then either.

There are quite a few misled and deluded commentators here who don't know how to appreciate the goodwill of RKC. For a bagatelle price they practically donated an elite location on Korošica. Quite a few of them (we) will spend a nice long time waiting in purgatory before arriving in the heavenly kingdom.

@ulius - if RKC is entitled to return despite "your arguments" and that's a fact, stop selling Poptevjejev nonsense as truth. Why would they give anything to a profit organization RKC? It's there to donate but to those in need and not to hikers who bring profit to entrepreneurs. If voluntary contributions bother you, I hope you're consistent and don't donate to anyone - turn on sarcasm detector.
@Lukito - you'd live easier too if you didn't believe everything in Slo news, and lnaluA-RLC pays taxes just like you and I.
If you read RKC's financial report you'd see how much they donate and exactly where - not like fržava that forgives only some - example 29 mil.
Regarding the accusation that the Church won't act on crescents and stars on peaks, just look a bit into history and you'll see who bought land and built the first huts - I tell you, it wasn't just people but priests. And since I'm a proud believer and RKC member, I tell you - tell when and where we meet to help the burned or otherwise affected people - if they're not a profitable organization, I'll come to help (and not alone).

Rajko, well just saying not everything is to be believed is a bit lame form of denial or proving truth. So people should just close their eyes and pretend ZVON1 and ZVON2 didn't even exist. And why exactly does a religious organization get into financial deals? Is that their mission? (and that's just a drop in the ocean)
Anyway, not to drag on too much. Our family also helps RKC with organizing events and gives spaces, land etc. to them for free use. Without asking us, without thanking us. Why? Because that's just the custom.
Undoubtedly many believers will help, if you feel it's God working through you that's fine too. Many non-believers will help too.
How did they buy land at RKC and where does that come from? Starts with crusades, with fire and sword, or would you rather about recent history? I think it's better not to go into that, anyway I have a different opinion than you.
