Nino, greetings to you too! Seems I haven't seen you on the forum for a long time...

Regarding the bivouac, it'd be great if it stays secret and pathless, and these things aren't posted online. Next guests will be Czechs. Then a nice story ends.

This one might be less attractive for Czechs...otherwise they'd have sniffed it out and reservations on bivaki.cz zadrega

Can someone show a page with these famous bivouac reservations? It keeps coming up, but no one showed anything concrete. So I'm pretty sure it's a myth.

Mate, even a Slovak told the guide they had the bivouac reserved. I allow the possibility that he was bluffing a bit to secure it only for his group.

Tra-la-la. Such a claim about the bivouac reservation stinks from afar. I have it reserved too, if you believe me. nasmeh

No, it's important that it stays where it is and that we who know it from nature visit it, not from the net.

Has anyone hiked the Martinj trail recently? Tomorrow I'd return with Konj via this trail, wondering if it's passable at all. Somewhere on the forum I saw some bridge is in bad condition, but now can't find that post anymore...

Normally passable, the little bridge will really slowly serve its time. Hard to find from the top if you don't know exactly where it goes. So maybe better to go up this one, down some other.

After seeing Friday's pictures, the better half commanded to go to "Velko" again on Saturday embarrassed

OK, now to the point...descent was on Martinj trail. Seemed somewhat "abandoned" to me, like almost no one walked it this year, or since floods. In the lower part, the answer why. Flood washed away forest road/track leading to trail, landslides dumped material there. Who doesn't know terrain will have a hard time finding right path from below.

Yes below really all torn up, but finding path shouldn't be any problem - go nicely up torrent gully (bit of scrambling) till you reach road going left.

Martinj, Rigelj and partly Kuklarji unmarked paths anyway, hard to miss once you know them as trodden hundred times. Similar Streže which were already gullied before. Need to wait a bit, locals always diligent here, each of us going there will clear or reinforce something.

Yes in that sense last sentence meant - who hasn't walked there yet maybe now not best time to try. Who knows the terrain will have no problems smile
