Thanks, Gita! I'm glad you're using the Sony DSC-HX1. Since the camera has been on our market, I've been eyeing it, but until today I didn't know if it was the one. Now I have practical confirmation. Meanwhile, the SONY DSC-HX5 has appeared too, so the dilemma of what to get still persists. Have a nice day ahead.

Despite the cloudy weather, we four friends set off for Mala Tičarica (1907). At half past 8 we started from Planina Blato cheerfully towards Planina pri Jezeru and further. Clouds slowly covered the sky and sprinkled us three times briefly. Despite everything, after a good three hours we arrived at the summit, had a wonderful view, without sun though, then went back down with raindrops. At Planina Blato the sun was already shining, so at least we weren't wet. But we had a nice training for our condition.

If my map doesn't lie, Mala Tičarica above the hut at Triglav Lakes is 2071 m high. Were you on some other one?

Hehe Ksena, you two also ended the nice tour in solid darkness. But it's nothing special to wander a bit more with headlamp around pastures. Lp!

...we strained our eyes almost to the end... tested night vision ... then finally its turn came - headlamp. Nice, yes... after the sun, and also in the dark. lp

Ksena.. nice tour… I regularly follow "current conditions" so I must ask you perhaps an unpleasant question, no hard feelings. Why do you always open new topics for already described paths? I think peaks are what matter! The rest are approaches to them – paths are different… When a person searches for a peak and approach to it, they type the peak and there sort out the approach directions. That way you get many ideas for approaches… but with you I often come across "newly opened topics" even though there has already been writing about this or that approach to a peak…. Ksena no offense but if everyone opened a new topic for every approach direction to a peak things would be very messy. Sorry, probably Tadej or Rok should have warned you and my comment is totally unnecessary, but it's nice if things are clear, not scattered left and right…! See the link from which it is evident that quite a few hikers have already posted the same tour: http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=1302&stran=1 (there are two Ticaricas - big-small) But your tours are nice and worth seeing and all attention!

Pohodnik11, why would I take offense... sometimes really careless because I don't want to browse old posts.... the thing is very simple... the browser gets you the desired right away. I won't apologize... I promise it was the last time. And I wish you nice tours And thanks for the compliment

Last time I already admired it, Little Ticarica, how it proudly reflects in Double Lake, which was then quite single. And yesterday I invited myself to visit her. I start at Savica, then over Komarča, above which stars still glow. The path on Komarča is dry, but sprinkled with leaves hiding roots, stones, sticks underneath, dangerous for slipping. At the frozen "Black Beauty" it mysteriously cracks and rumbles, like stones falling on rocks. After a few moments of observing and listening I realize that the ice is cracking. I continue through the cold Lopučniška valley. On the path there is some compacted old snow for a while. Otherwise the path is clear. Further on I meet a herd of chamois, which are not hurrying to retreat. Also at the frozen Double Lake mysterious cracks tear the silence. I continue over Štapc to Little Ticarica. At the summit a bit of wind and nice views. And unplanned the neighbor invites me as a guest - Big Ticarica. And since some of the day was left, I accept the invitation. Follows descent to the saddle and continuation towards Prehodavci. At the "right" spot I turn steeply left uphill to the ridge and again left with easier climbing to the summit. Oh dear, how will it go down ! Well, it went - slowly, carefully, even that last one. If it had been damp, the descent would have been more annoying. I return the same way. When I reach the lakes, I want to go to the hut, but loud music echoes from there (I think from the radio) and loud visitors can be heard, as if they were having a private party. At Black Lake it is still cracking. And on both Ticaricas there is a stamp with the same height.

Ksena, this weekend I plan to go via Komarča to the hut at 7J and I'm wondering if there's any ice over Komarča on the descent, and second question, do you know where the stamp is at the hut, given that the hut is closed.

Ibro, over Komarča it's dry, on descent there are nasty spots where leaves cover rocks because it's slippery. Otherwise the path is fine. Stamp? I wouldn't know that, because I didn't even think of it. Good luck and enjoy... on this path you almost can't do without it

@tomko, yes, thanks for the praise. I'm satisfied with the tour. Photos though - if it's a nice day and good camera, then they're great. I had a nice day, photos much less . Well, sometimes something works. It's nice to go down Komarča, because you can see the path down. Only now, when there are no leaves on the trees, you see the real steepness .

On Thursday I took advantage of nice weather to visit Tičarica, Zelnarica and Voglov. Started at Planina Blato with first sun rays that accompanied me all day. Path otherwise without features. But not used to such peace. All day met no one except herd of chamois above Dedno polje.

With husband last weekend we visited the hut at the seven lakes and were surprised to find no stamp anywhere. Does maybe someone know if the stamp is somewhere outside the hut. And please no comments if we go to mountains for stamp, because we already heard unfriendly cyclist in the valley at the hut.... Thanks in advance and best regards

Zoja, the stamp of the hut at Triglav Lakes can be obtained only when the hut is open, during season. It's not outside. Regards.
