On Sunday, 29.9., it was a nice autumn day. I started from Blato, via Pl. pri Jezeru, Pl. Dedno Polje and there towards Prehodavci along Za Kopico valley. At Vrata saddle, where it was already wintry, I turned left to Mala Zelnarica and further along the ridge to Mala Tičarica, then back to Blato (cca 10 hours). Views gorgeous, all the way to the sea. Sun, some wind, higher up a bit of snow. Edelweiss in full bloom, larches still green. A few more pics: Regards

Very nice, vividly described! I walked Za Kopico valley when it was still really completely unknown, more than twenty years ago and I know I loved it .

Nice tour, congrats Small comment correction on your blog: "On the Bohinj hiking map – 1:25 000, 4th edition, 2019 (Sidarta), the peak I was on is marked as Mala Zelnarica (2320 m), the neighboring one as Velika Zelnarica (2310 m) and this path is not marked." PD Šmarna gora is the maintainer of this path and IT IS marked as drawn on PZS PlanGIS paths. Best, Nevenka

Nevenka, as far as I remember, the “path” to Velika Zelnarica was never marked.

Thanks Dolfi for info There are paths, marked or not. If they write on PZS that the path is drawn in PlanGIS, maybe it will be marked
