Yesterday I stopped by the hut on Vrtača on the way back. For all those who like something good to eat I warmly recommend a visit. Caretaker Vili has many years of experience in the kitchen so he won't disappoint nasmeh

. Besides good food there are also beautiful views of Baba, Veliki vrh (Košuta), screes and walls of Begunjščica.

Ljubelj - Koča Vrtača I'm crazy about struklji anyway... these are really something special :)

Today I went to Vrtača Hut. Conditions similar to if it were snowing in Ljubljana in mid-April. Regards, Tadej

Where the hudournik crosses the ski slope the passage is practically impossible, better around on the forest road

At Vrtača Hut another 30 cm of snow has fallen. From Begunjščica some avalanches were visible too.

Some pictures from today. At Ljubelj around 15 cm, at Vrtača Hut around 25 cm of new snow. Zelenica Hut will be closed today and tomorrow due to avalanche danger.
